Hi. I currently have a dual 3.1 amd. Win 7 64 With a 9800gtx+. Nothing overclocked atm because I just did a fresh install. I'm wondering if it would be more benefical price wise for me to just sli another 9800gtx+ for better preformance or just get a new video card for a little more money. Any input would be helpfull and greatly Appreciated. I just want to be able to run games without any hiccups in my frame rates. I'm not sure if its because of my system or my graphics card. Playing tf2 I get some fps lag and playing the weekend swtor I was getting 14 fps in pvp zones. Help please :)

Don't add another same card in sli .It won't always scale good performance. It will good if you get something newer dx11 cards like gts 450, gtx550ti, or other side hd5750 hd5770 these will give you almost double performance ovar your card , but I think your cpu will bottleneck little bit. Small ovarclock is recommended if you want full eyecandy in games.

Sorry about this very late response, I've been very held up with life 😛

this was a system i built back in 2007

So back to my original question with this added information, what should i do? Im not sure how bad this system is for gaming now, or if its just my video card needing an upgrade ?

Thanks for any help in advance
