trying to upgrade from an i5 to an i7 7700k

hello so recently I have been trying to see if I have everything necessary to upgrade to an i7-7700k from an i5-7400 I have an omen hp desktop product number: 870-224 and I wanted to know if the odense2-k is good enough to upgrade to an i7-7700k. Thank you!

Odense2-K Specifications Page.

Under Processor Upgrade Information, it specifically lists the 7700 (non-k). I wouldn't bother trying with the K-version.

nvm, I am an idiot, it states on the hp website that my current motherboard can indeed upgrade from an i3-7100 (kabylake) 3.9ghz dual core to a i5-7400 (kabylake) 3.0 ghz quad core to an i7-7700(kabylake) 3.6 ghz quad core, so in short... yes it can!
