Trying to upgrade graphics card.

Is it possible to upgrade from a gt 640 to the Gigabyte GTX 970? Will I have enough power? Will I have enough room? Specs: Intel Core i7 3770, Socket 1155 LGA, Dell motherboard 0nw73c , DDR3 16 GBytes of ram, Nvidia Geforce GT 640, 460 Total power supply, Xps 7100 case,

What is your PSU you will need a 80+ certified 28+ amps PSu with 500 watt minimum

Other parts will be fine with the card also the card is quite long the gigabyte card you are looking at is 16 inches in length the EVGA one is 10 inches in length so i think you have to change your case for any high end card but i am not sure what is your case GPU clearance so make that sure.
