Question Trying to upgrade my AMD Ryzzen 5 5600g with radon as my cpu is holding back my pc

PC is a pre build HP omen 25L. Graphics card is Geforce gtx 1660. Base board info OMEN factory ID: E145483. done that math on my PSU and seems to be plenty for a stronger cpu. only other question is if i will need to upgrade my cooling system if i can find a better cpu? can some one help me find a mathcing cpu so i dont waste my time ordering the wrong one?

Look to see if this same model was sold with options for the CPU. Most likely that only the ones optioned new will work with the system. If the motherboard is a known quantity with a model from a well known brand you could check the manufacturers website. I am not aware of HP using mobo from other vendors but might be worth checking into.
