Trying to upgrade my little brothers computer with a 150$ budget

My little brothers birthday is coming up this week and I'm trying to upgrade the budget gaming pc i built him last year.
My budget is 150$ and here is his build.

I was hoping I could find him a gtx 970 for that price but I couldn't find anything.
and yes, 150$ is my max budget.

he has 8 gb of ram i just forgot to add it to parts list because at the time I already had an extra

$150 isn't enough for much of anything. Upgrade the RAM to 8GB, but beyond that, nothing else is really in the market.

I would go with more RAM and a SSD if he is ok with the current gaming performance or wait and save up a bit more and go with the GTX 1060/RX 480.

While SSD's and more ram are always good things. If he is fine with his load times and only the 4GB of ram, try looking for a used GTX 680, or 780. Something along those lines. At only 1080p gaming, they both will still be able to put most games to high settings.

check ebay for used 970s. They're selling for $200 or less.
