I am a casual gamer that does not play that much games as I use to. But, the one game on PC that I am excited for is Maplestory 2. I know my computer is unable to run this game so what can I upgrade my GPU or other things to make it run SMOOTHLY. keyword is SMOOTHLY

Solution
The system requirements are kinda vague, regarding CPU, as they don't even specify what gen of i5 they recommend. Still, I think this will satisfy the requirements of the game. https://support-maplestory2.nexon.net/hc/en-us/articles/360000554943-What-are-the-Minimum-System-Requirements-for-MapleStory-2-

what is your budget?

that motherboard has no BIOS that will allow unlocking the other 2 cores on your CPU, that would be an instant power boost.
newegg has many refurbished i5 based systems complete with windows 10 and warranties for under 200 dollars, add a 1050 and you are set.

It looks like your motherboard has a PCIe Slot. Your power supply is pretty underpowered, but you could try a 1050ti that doesn't require external power like this one:

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487291&cm_re=1050_ti-_-14-487-291-_-Product

You could also go down from the 1050 to the 750ti series, if you didn't want to spend as much money testing to see if your system could be made better.

As for whether you would smoothly run Maplestory... I dunno. Your processor is pretty low rated with only 2104 passmarks:

https://www.cpubenchmark.net/midlow_range_cpus.html

Even my 11-year-old Q6600 processor has 2958 passmarks, so you may be cpu starved.

Personally, I would upgrade your graphics card and see if it helps.

You could always buy a refurbished Dell computer later with a much more powerful CPU and use your new graphics card in it.

Good luck!

A Ryzen 3 2200g would perform near identically to that GT 1030 while costing only as much as the R3 1200
