trying to upgrade windows and it isnt detecting disk drives

trying to upgrade to windows 7 and its not detecting my disk drives the windows disc i am using works on all other computers

if you are trying to upgrade then its probably the optical drive on the pc isnt working.
or ,during POST, you need to press the f-key that corresponds to "Select Boot Drive' or 'Boot Options' and then select the Optical Disk Drive.
