Question Trying to use MS phone app with pc

Trying to use the Microsoft phone app to make calls from my PC, but says there is no BT connection. I plugged a universal BT dongle in and the PC sees it, but the phone app still won't work and says there is no BT on my PC. I have a load of BT dongles from keyboard to mice already. Is there some other BT item I need to add to make my PC BT? I could have sworn I bought this PC with Bt on it already but may have been a BT plug-in card of sorts, I don't remember, thanks for any help. Randy

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Actually how many other BT devices are installed? USB ports - correct?

Which specific Microsoft phone app and where did you get the app?

What phone do you normally use for making calls, texting, etc.? Who is your service provider?

A lot of keyboards / mice do have dongles which are not BT.

Do you have BlueTooth dongle in your system tray (next to the clock)? Do you have BT adapter in "Device Manager"?

Try manually pairing your phone with the PC.
