Trying to utilize an old computer

I have a custom built computer and an old one, and I'd like to utilize the old computer in some way. I'm trying to find a way to have it process a different task on the computer from the control of my primary computer, such as recording a video on the primary and rendering it on the secondary. Is there any way to do this?

My primary computer is running Windows 10, and my secondary can run anything, the hard drive is wiped.

I believe there is a way to do it with a bridged USB cable or network cables, but I may be mistaken.

You want your latest pc to have two ethernet ports, one for internet, one to connect to the old pc,using a crossover ethernet cable, not sure you can render just from the first pc's control alone though, certainly can transfer the file to the second though

What is a software that can do this? Or possibly a link to a help article? I can't seem to find anything.
