Tryinng to reduce the noise of a normal fan to the maximum ectent

Is it possible to reduce the noise produced due to a fan by applying fourier transform and inverse fourier transform simultaneously?please answer the question and notify me if there is still any modications required to do that or my concept is wrong.

Please define "normal fan". This is mainly, but not only, a forum for computers and problems with them. Hence we mainly deal with fans used in computers, such as case fans and CPU cooling fans. And they usually already have, or are connected to, means for altering their speed/noise.
This doesn't mean that there are no helpers that can help with other types of devices.
