I hope TSMC builds some of the fabs outside of Taiwan. Currently it appears that most are in Taiwan, two in China and one in the USA. These new fabs should be spread out a bit. I would think they should be relatively safe in the USA or Europe. Communist China keeps Sabre Rattling and intimidating Taiwan. If China takes over at least they could have a few Fabs still operating in another country. Who knows. Taiwan is great. They are an impressive country.
