Hi,

when I enable Intel Virtualization in the BIOS, the PC stops to boot, not even getting the BIOS splash screen. I then have to do a CMOS reset with bridging the 2 pins to get it to work again (with vt-x disabled)

I tried all of the following:
- flash BIOS to the most current one (v 1301)
- turned PC off after enabling vt-x and leave it several seconds
- enabled VT-D, too

someone has an idea what else I could try? or at least how to figure out what fails?

If you have Hyper-V installed, it gets greedy and won’t let other virtualization apps access hardware acceleration features. This more often happens with Intel VT-x hardware.

Head to Control Panel > Uninstall a Program. In the “Programs and Features” window, click “Turn Windows features on or off.”

In the “Windows Features” window, clear the “Hyper-V” checkbox and then click “OK.”

When Windows is done uninstalling Hyper-V, you’ll need to restart your PC and then you can try using VirtualBox or VMware again.

It's no OS issue, as said it doesn't even boot at all, I can't even get into the BIOS again.

(Apart from that, Hyper-V is not installed)
