[SOLVED] tuning on new pc but only the power led on the motherboard shows up. rest of pc is not running?

Hi, building a new pc and have everything wired up. when I turn on pc the power light on motherboard shows up and nothing else happens. I turned it on the case to and it's not booting. (no monitor is attached and I have the PSU out of the case. thanks

yes i have the 24 pin on the side and the 8 pin on the top

How do you know its not booting with no monitor attached are the fans spinning? are you getting a bios beep?

nothing in the case is turning on. no fans. no rgb just a power led pn my board

That may just be the +5VSB. Reseat your power connectors. Check on/under your mobo for anything like a dropped screw. Make sure you only have standoffs in the right places (where there are mobo holes for them). Check the power switch and its wires.
