Just installed a asrock z370 extreme 4, i7 8700k and 2x8gb g. Skill ram (3200mhz). I noticed that the memory is only running at 2133mhz, and changing to memory turbo boost in the bios is now running at 3200mhz. Is it safe to leave the turbo boost on full time?

Solution
I have never heard the term turbo boost used in regards to memory, turbo boost is a CPU feature.

To get the RAM to run at it's advertised speeds you enable the XMP profile in the BIOS. Yes it is safe to use all the time.

An auto OC feature is different from what I am talking about, it may enable XMP automatically but it will do other stuff as well. Such as overclocking the CPU and raising various voltages, depending on voltages set it may not be safe to use all the time. I have seen those auto OC utilities set some truly ridiculous voltages, I wouldn't trust that functionality personally.
