I bought a PC from Zoostorm long ago. It had its own Windows 7 and installation disc.

As we know those companies lock the mainboard to the Windows 7 so you can't install it on any other mainboard.

I wanted to reinstall the Windows 7 but the CD drive just doesn't work. Is there any way of taking the exact same content of the CD they gave me and putting it onto a USB so I could install the OS from the USB?

I don't want to buy a new CD drive since it's useless to me.

if the windows 7 image on the drive is in iso format you can use the free microsoft iso to usb tool to make a bootable usb stick with a 4g usb stick.
the other way is download from digital rivers a windows iso image and see if the oem key on your pc works. the iso image wont have all the pre installed junk just the default windows os image. if it comes down to you needing to use the cd a replacment drives if it sata are under 20.00 for a bulk drive.
