I put together the package below from Newegg, my first DIY computer, and I had help from a friend, but I'm having one small but vexing problem: when I put the computer in sleep mode, the fan keeps running. Anything I can do about this?

Which fan? If it's the fan inside the PSU, you can't do anything about that. If is is the CPU cooling fan or the case fan, where is it plugged in? If it is plugged into a 4-pin Molex output cable from the PSU, there is nothing to control that power. But if you plug it into a mobo CPU_FAN pinout (for the CPU fan) or SYS_FAN pinout (for a case fan), the mobo and the OS can control what the fan does.
