Question Turn off windows FOCUS

So me and my roomate want to play ESO. my pc can run both clients with no issue. The only issue is that i am trying to play using a keyboard and mouse. While he is playing on a gamepad (360 controller) Anyway. i cannot play at the same time due to something in windows known as Window Focus. In other words if i have a window selected he can use only it. which causes an issue since we are trying to play at the same time. Is there a program that i can use to sync the controller to the program forcefully?

If you're on W10, turning off Focus is pretty easy. Just type focus into the search bar, click on focus assistant settings, and click the Off button.

its the window itself being given priority by windows. wrong focus. i need to either find software that will assign controller to that program permanently or ignore when i tab to another window

As far as I know there's only one W10 feature called Focus Assistant. You sure you're not referring to Magnifier?

Like I said, I know of no other "Focus" feature in W10 other than Focus Assistant. All you said is you want to turn off Focus. It's not me trolling, it's you presenting your problem with a poor (or outdated to today's OSes) choice of words.
