Turn on Bluetooth adapter after it has been turned off.

I turned (foolishly!)off my Bluetooth adapter using a checkbox in Windows7 dialog box 'bluetooth settings'/options. Now I cannot access the dialog box to turn it back on again. If I rightclick the device and click on 'bluetooth settings' in the menu, nothing happens. All other items in that menu respond with a dialog box. I have a horrible feeling this is a bug in Windows.

I have the solution.
Click START
In the search box, type 'services.msc'
Click on the search result, 'services'
Look down the list of services presented and find a Bluetooth file marked 'manual' (rather than automatic).
Click to highlight it.
At the left will appear an option to 'start' the highlighted service.
Do it
Now when you rightclick the adapter icon, and click 'Bluetooth settings', you actually get the Bluetooth settings dialog box and you can uncheck the box which turns off the adapter.....
....and the adapter finally turns on!!!!!
I found this on another forum site. I must try to get back to them to thank the person concerned.
