Turning Corsair HD120 case fans lights off completely?

Hi, is there a way to turn the lights off Corsair's HD120 case fans completely, as I'm not sure I want them on all the time e.g. late at night while trying to concentrate on writing?

Wouldn't it be a cheaper option to just remove the fans and replace with standard non LED fans?
