Are there any (even relatively) common reasons for not having Bluetooth on in a motherboard that offers this feature? Or in Windows?

Like, if a person visits my home who needs that Bluetooth like once a year, is there any reason not to have it on always?

My mobo is got x570 Tomahawk, and I just noticed that Bluetooth is currently turned off. At least in Windows, possibly in BIOS, too.

The Bluetooth might be off on Windows.
If disabled in BIOS it might also disable WiFi, since it uses a combo WiFi/BT chip.
I usually turn of Bluetooth if not in use.

I have the same board. I don't think there is a way to turn it off in bios - only Windows.

As far as I know, there is no technical reason why you would not want it on all the time.

Personally, I turn off Bluetooth on my devices unless I need them. This is only to stop them connecting at inconvenient times (e.g. on a phone call and all of a sudden it tries to use my PC / car / headset instead of the phone).
