Question Turning off a monitor without unplugging it

So I got my TV hooked up to my pc for gaming and movies and such but when I dont want to use the TV I have to unplug the HDMI and would like if there was a way to disconnect it in the settings

You didn't give any make and models, but on my TVs you can go to Settings and switch from one HDMI input to another, and you can do it with the remote that comes with the TV.
