Turning off my touchpad

I have a Dell Inspiron 6000 with wonderful touchpad, which I do not want to
work because I have a wireless mouse. I cannot seem to find a way to turn the
thing off. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Should be in your BIOS.

See the manual on how to get in during startup.
