Hi everyone!

I need help.

In my windows 10 PC, I tried to turn off "Password Protected Sharing" but suddenly admin password pops up / do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?

Even if I didn't put a password on my PC. Hope anyone could help. Thanks!

Do you have admin rights on your PC?

If not, who does have admin rights to your PC?

There is an administrator account and that account is the account needed to change the protections in place.

Forum rules prohibit helping with bypassing or otherwise over-coming security protections.

You must work with the applicable administrator for the PC.

Just as Ralston18 has said.

Additionally, if "Password Protected Sharing" is showing as enabled/turned on, then it must have already had a password set for it by somebody who has admin privileges on that laptop. You must consult them, whoever it is.
