I have an Asus Tuf x570 Pro Wifi and I want to build outside the case to check for any issues. The mobo doesn't have a power button, but I've been told I can jump the board by placing a screwdriver between the power + and - pins. Is this true? I also wanted to know how to safely turn the board off. I'm guessing I just flip the psu button off?

My next question is about using Bios flashback. Asus has a video on how to do it, but I wanted to know if I can do it by just having the psu connected and nothing else. To clarify, I go through the normal process, but the CPU isn't connected, just the psu to the mobo.

Solution
Yes, that screwdriver thing is safe, and just turn the psu off when you dont want to use it, or you know, shutdown if you get to windows.
Please follow the quide about BIOS Flashback so you dont mess something up.
