My ram can run up to 3000mhz and now its running at 2400mhz. Should I turn on XMP? Is it anything dangerous with turning it on?

Solution
Yes, if not then you should've just saved some money and went with 2400mhz RAM. No, why would there be? It will likely change the DRAM voltage from 1.2v to 1.35v but every CPU memory controller I am aware of that will run high speed DDR4 has no issue with a DRAM voltage of 1.35v.
