[SOLVED] Turtle beach stealth 600 wireless headphones won't connect to my PC with the xbox adapter ?

I need help. I've never had issues before but apparently after rebuilding my PC I can't get the headset to work. I bought a xbox adapter for the wireless headset and to no avail, will it show up and work on my PC.. what am I doing wrong? Someone please help me. I have 1200 in a PC I can't use my headphones in.
