Question TV and PC question?

Hi.
So i have my tv connected to my pc and I watch some movies sometimes.
But my question is if i can put the movie to play on my tv and like play a game or something on my monitor while i can hear the game sound in my headset and the movie through tvs speakers.

Typically gaming, and this for most people are heavy, first person, interactive, resource heavy gaming, will take over the machine completely and not allow any other thing to happen, including playing a move on the side, it will stutter.

But assuming u can do both at the same time, I do believe latest Windows allows apps to select what audio output device it wants.
