So, I have my parts for my pc picked out, and I really wouldn't like to dip into my PC budget to get a monitor.

So, I was wondering if I could just use my TV as my monitor for now.

I use this setup for my laptop, just because the co-lours and stuff are brighter.

Well? Thanks for your input.

Update* Forgot to mention I will be using this PC for Gaming, Livestreaming, Recording, etc.
I was thinking response time will be an issue.....

But currently my laptop setup response time to the TV is almost perfect.

The Monitor I would eventually like to have is atleast a http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/benq-benq-24-1080p-widescreen-led-gaming-monitor-with-1ms-response-time-rl2455hm-black-rl2455hm/10247401.aspx?path=61a0b11b275035e6994ee7cd283c19e5en02

Benq 1080p whilst my TV is 720.

Comments about what? You have your answer, it will work.

It'll just look kinda crappy to you.
It should record/stream at a better quality than what you'd likely see, but everything is gonna be pretty lame on your end.

I used a 32" 720p TV for a couple weeks when my old 1080p monitor broke, and it was just awful. Input lag, the resolution was garbage, and having a big monitor is just uncomfortable. Get a monitor.

Also get a R7 260X instead of the GTX 750
