Tv Audio echo through hdmi

Ok maybe you all might be able to answer this or not depend.
I have a Sony bluray player attached via hdmi and at various times it will start echoing during movies. I just thought it was the hardware.
But today i was playing with my computer over the same type of connection(hdmi). Different cable into the TV (Panasonic 42") different ports and everything.
It started doing the exact same thing. This is indeed not just a problem with the bluray player. I dont think that its a problem with the TV. I Think there might be some interference or someone's wifi that might be causing the problem.
Any input would be a good help.

wifi wouldn't interact with an HDMI cable.

Logic would say, that if it does it with a different source input, different cable, different port, same TV, there is one common denominator in that equation.
