hi

i have an ass notebook, and it got HDMI Video output , so i can connect it to my HD TV.

if you ever connected your pc\notebbok to TV , you know that there's few option :

such "unite both disply" (which shows the same on notebooks monitor & TV ), & "extended display". (which uses your TV as extended desktop).

right now i use "extended display". it works really great.

but the problem is that , the display on the TV is bit "cut" on the edges, (compard to the Notebook)....

why is that , and how could i fixed it?

i assume , it somehow got to do with the notebooks resultion, but iam not sure...

You should check the scaling options for your TV. On my TV there are options like "Full" "Wide" "Full Wide" and "Full Pixel". You would want full pixel, so check your TV settings for something that sounds more or less the same, or says that it doesn't do any scaling of the image.

hi

thanks for replying

can it be also the configuration in the notebook?

the notebook got to Video cards, first is Intel HD integreted onchip, second is nvidia 310M .

it uses nvidia optimous technology to change between them ,..

so could it be in windows, intel or nvidia control panel configuration
?
