The title says it all.
I had a TV just sitting in my room unplugged, so I decided to put it to use as a 2nd monitor.
I hasn't worked...
I have been searching for hours and hours and not a single solution has worked. I have tried multiple working HDMI cords, and nothing changes. My normal monitor has a DVI or VGA cable (Or what ever it's called, it's blue and has screws to secure it in place) and works fine. I tried to plug the TV up with the same cable, and it worked! But now the monitor won't get outta "Power Save" mode, or whatever. And I tried that part with multiple HDMI's as well!
I managed to get it to where If I put my mouse out to the side far enough, the mouse acts if it is working and goes thru.
I don't care about audio, b/c I have Head Phones that plug directly into my computer and they work fine.
It's an Insignia TV. That alone may be the problem, but I'm filled with DETERMINATION.
Ask me anything you need to know. Also: the model number for the TV is NS32-D120A13, if that helps.
Thanks in Advance, LilCoach
EDIT: Just to be clear, I have a Desktop, not a laptop. And yes, I've tried WinButton + P to try and fix it, and it didn't work.
