TV: HDMI cable problem

Hello!

I have a low cost TV (probably made in China) wich I use to connect my PC with HDMI, so when I connect with VGA cable the image is perfect (1920*1080) and with the HDMI connected the image is blurry(1920*1080)
Can the HDMI cable be the problem?

Test the HDMI cable elsewhere, or, borrow another one to temporarily replace it to confirm it is bad or rule it out.....? (No certainties until assorted variables/possibilities are tested....barring more than one problem, which is what what be the case if it were mine)
