This probably isn't the right place to ask, but I'll try anyways.

So, I'm trying to connect an Xbox 360 to my Sharp Aquos HDTV via hdmi, but it's only taking one source which is my cable box currently. I tried unplugging the cable box and just having the Xbox connected and that worked but that means I don't have the cable box working. When I have both connected I only see one source that I can switch to.

I messed around with the TV settings and couldn't find anything that wouldn't let me use up to the 3 hdmi ports that are available on this TV.

Both the cable box and Xbox are powered on when you are troubleshooting, correct? Often times the TV will not show the source unless it is receiving a signal through that input. Have you tried all HDMI slots? Different HDMI cables? The first step would be to isolate the problem to the TV and get rid of other problematic variables.

It could be the input you are attempting to use no longer functions, my current old 37" Samsung has the same problem. HDMI 2 is a no-go.
