TV or MONITOR for ps4 gaming?

Solution
PS4 outputs to 1080p the PS4 pro out puts 4k signal, now you still can play ps4 on a 4k as most tv's will upscale however that could also increase response time which is never a good thing. Also the PS4 would only out put 60fps and most games are only 30 FPS anyway. Really the best to look at for gaming is the response time see if that TV has a low response time or a "gaming" mode. Otherwise you may see a delay in when you do an action on the controller vs what you see on the screen.

I say go with TV the biggest issue is the monitor is a 1440p the PS4 out puts to 1080p so basically the image will be resized so it won't look as it should. It would actually be better to have 4k monitor since down scaling to 1080p is mathematically eaiser.
