Tv Static at 1080p

I recently bought a Nintendo Switch. I noticed that when at 1080p, there is a large amount of static displaying on the screen. When I set the console to display 720p, the static would disappear. I have tried different HDMI cables and ports, but nothing has seemed to work.

Have you tried on another TV? Would be helpful to narrow it down to either the Switch, or the TV itself.
