TV switching off randomly

My Luxor television is switching itself off randomly. When I switch the tele on, it has got a red LED blinking and stays on. After a while the tele turns off itself and there is no problem to turn it on again. Could you please suggest me the possible reason and a quote for the repair.

Repairs may not be necessary - may just be some configuration problem. Normally configuration problems are not "random" per se so something else is going on.

You need to know what the red blinking light means.

Do you have the user manual/guide?

If not go to Luxor's website and get the manual for your model. You can also check the FAQ's and forums.

Is the TV on a network? Is the TV in a location where it is not staying cool enough and shuts down due to overheating?

You need to figure out a bit more about what may be going on. Maybe a bad power connection is turning it off - check the outlet.

See what you can find out and figure out. Post accordingly and include the TV model number. Thanks.
