here's antoher problem from me:

ive got a kind of annoying problem with tv-tool (www.tvtool.de)
my graphics card is gainward gf 4 ti4600 750 xp... it works without any problems at all when i use tv-out from the display properites. but when i activate tv mode from tv-tool my tv flickers, but the picture stays on my regular display and i get an alert saying "twinwiev is activated on this computer. please deactivate it from the nview properties"). the resolution also changes from 1024*768 to 640*XXX (cant remember 😉 ). then i deactivate tv mode, and everything goes back to normal (regular resoltuion).

so how do i deactive twinview? i cant really find an option for it. and what can otherwise be causing this...?

thanks...

Wait, wait, WAIT A MINUTE!!! You're saying that TV-Out works fine without TV-Tool, then why are you trying to use TV-Tool? TV-Tool is made to handle problems with your TV-Out NOT working well. Things like getting rid of black lines at the edge of the screen, etc.

Anyway, the problem with TV-Tool is that you have to have your monitor set at the same resolution as the TV to use it. And the same refresh rate, 30FPS. To use it, you must go into Display Properties>Settings>Advanced and you'll find a menu or button for enabling/disabling twinview.
