tv tuner 8500dv

I have recently bought an imported All-in wonder Radeon 8500DV card from the USA, I am in the UK and was trying to set the tv tuner up but the software only has the areas that are covered by the states is there someway of making it thinking it's no longer in an NTSC area and start to accept PAL. I found a section on the tuner area which had NTSC selected but it was shaded out which means I can't select any other. I also found a country code which only had two options in the setup one being the USA and the other Canada. I'm not sure if there is any other drivers out there which would enable me to change this.
any help or links would be great.

Hmm, it used to be selectable on previous cards. Contact ATI and find out if a new BIOS is in order for the card.

Where would I find the frequency? I had a look on the ati website and went via the Europe link but did not see anything that could possibly help me.

Sorry about the confusion, that last line was my signiture. You can find alternative BIOS on certain sites, but I don't know if they will work for your card, you would have to ask an ATI BIOS expert.
