TV vs Monitor

Solution
Monitors. Pros - Low input lag, fits on a desk, and uses less energy. Cons - Too small for some, less input options generally, and will cost more per inch compared to cheap tvs.

TVs. Pros - Comes in larger sizes, surplus of HDMI connections, and always come with speakers. Cons - Generally have noticeable input lag, not designed to go on desk due to large size, and colors can come really saturated out of the box and require much setup and color correction.
It comes down to what you enjoy more. Personally I'm moving over to my TV so I can game on the couch.

The TV gives you: A bigger screen to look at in exchange for easy keyboard and mouse use. I recommend a pad or something like a CouchMaster for this. The TV also gives you speakers if you wish to game without a headset on.

The Monitor gives you: A smaller screen but likely sharper picture and potentially higher Hz. For competitive gaming it's easier to see everything on one smaller screen for games like CS:GO. Keyboard and mouse is a given as it'll be used at a desk. You'll most likely have to wear a headset unless you own some speakers.

hmm is it still in HD??and does it affect my game when playing high setting games like GTA V,assassins creed etc

if you skim through the reviews you can see the ones that use it for pc like it as well , but remember even the some of the top hdtv's can also suck as a pc monitor be sure to read all you can on the models your interested in and check there pc support in there specs

im sorry but what does Hz stands for?

If you are thinking you need a TV and want a monitor, and have room...then I'd buy a tv and a monitor. You can get a Asus monitor for around $130 that will be better than any tv for gaming. TVs are slow.

What does Hz stand for. TVs advertise 120Hz but really it is only 60Hz. Monitors don't lie or mislead when reporting the XXHz. Most monitors are 60Hz, which means it can display up to 60fps on that monitor. Even if you had a super end GPU you would not see more than 60fps on a 60Hz monitor or tv.

so u dont prefer tv for gaming?
