Hello! I recently bought a lcd tv with 22 inches and the resolution is 1920x1080. So I bought an HDMI cable capable of 1080p. I tried to connect my laptop to the TV and always appears it has no signal so to see if it wasnt a problem from the cable I tried another laptop and it worked the second I connected the cable. I need it to work on this one but it is kinda old and the laptop resolution is 1366x768. I've updated the gfx driver from the amd site and fooled around the options, changed the resolution in the screen settings to a lower and higher resolution and still no signal. The gfx card is an ATI Radeon HD 4500 mobility. Is there anything that needs to be done that I am missing? Any additional software for managment or any setting to solve the problem?
