tv wont turn on

i have an old tube tv and the power button on the tv doesnt work and the remote is no where to be seen i tried an old universal remote didnt wanna work its an rca remote i did take the back off the tv and checked the power button it seems to all be intact and normal but it doesnt wanna turn on is there any way to turn it on at all? without a remote or tv set buttons? please help thank you for your time.
