is there any 3rd party tweakUI program for win2000? I downloaded tweakUI1.33 from microsoft but can't seem to install it. when I click install nothing happens. The dialog box just simply closes. By the way is there a way to change the text of the dual boot menu? I'm dual-booting win2000 and win98 and I want to customize the boot menu so that it'll be easier for my mom to know which to use.

Tweaki for power users by JerMAr software is what you want for Win2k. It has all those Tweakui features and a few more. Perfect for customizing your O.S.

You can change the text of dual boot menu by editing the "boot.ini" file. This file is present in C: drive & is a hidden file.

I thought you might like that. But, I'm not sure how you can customize the boot menu. Perhaps you can try the exhaustive amount of tweaks prevalent in <A HREF="http://www.xteq.com/products/xset/index.html" target="_new">Xteq's X-Setup</A>...
