TWILIGHT ZONE DISPLAY PROBLEM

HI there...
Has anyone ever seen a TZ display that comes up with vertical
lines...kinda like your looking at it through a jail cell. I believe
all boards checked out good, and still this problem. I suspect ribbon
cable...but open to other ideas. Also some strange sounds coming from
it.
Tried several good CPU boards, and game chips. Sound board checked out
okay. Still same persistent problem(s).

Any help appreciated.

try another fliptronics board and/or dmd driver board.

I had a problem like this with a Getaway. Looks like jail bars. It was
a problem with the DMD board in my case. If you re-seat the ribbon
cables to the board, does the problem go away temporarily? Could also
be the ribbon cables.

Hi

I had the same problem on my TZ last week reseat
the ribbon cables both ends take them out and put them
in/out several times that should cure the problem
