Twin Frozr 7870 I am thinking of getting a Samsung UD590

I am considering getting a UD590 as an upgrade to my HP 2159. I just picked up a SD390 and the color is noticeably better as well as response but I am not really happy with it. My thought on the UD590 is that it will be much better with my current card and will future proof my next card upgrade to some degree. The games I play are Empire total war, Starcraft 2, Forged Alliance and now and then a FPS like Fallout or COD.

Is it worth the getting? Beyond the size will it look better? Performance issues? I can get it for $480 tax free.

Got the monitor, $440. Current card is doing better than I though it would. Running it at 60hz, Maxed out the setting on Empire total war and runs it well. On a FPS I am sure the card wouldn't be able to handle the 4k but since that is not my primary gaming interest it isn't much of an issue. I will give Fallout a try in the next day or so just to have an idea on limits. I was checking out the AMD Radeon R9 295X2 as a future upgrade but I think that may be overkill for what I need.
