TwinView on ASUS V7100

I have a V7100 2VID and the twinview feature doesn't work under Windows 2000. I've tried different Detonator drivers, a fresh install of the OS, different monitors, different DVI/VGA dongles, different screen resolutions... still it refuses to work. In the TwinView section of the display properties, all the options beside 'standard' are greyed-out and the 'scan monitor' doesn't detect the monitor pluged in the DVI output.
Any suggestions??

sad to say if you what twinview you should of got the Matrox g450
