Twitch streamers haven't purchased 1080 Ti's. Why?

One of my main forms of online entertainment is watching Twitch streams. Most streamers list their system specs, and I noticed that I haven't yet seen a single streamer with a 1080 Ti. Why is that? When Maxwell released, there was at least a portion of streamers that bought 980 Ti's, but I'm not seeing that for this generation.

Because not every streamer straight up knows about specs and shit and they don't want to drop $700 on something they have never heard of or researched before. And a 1080ti is not needed for streaming, a 980ti is enough for today's games at 1080p.
