Hello,

a month or two ago I bought a 7800XT (swapped from 1070 ti) and I've been having some weird graphics issues that I've never encountered before.

In some games I've tried (Command and Conquer and Rocket League) I get some sort of twitching image, as well as sudden black screens lasting 2-3 seconds and then coming back and showing 'DP' in the top right. This suggests that the cable somehow disconnects and reconnects, but it only occurs in certain titles. I had none of this with the previous GPU. I do not believe the cable or monitor is faulty, since it has never happened in five years of using the 1070 ti.

Attempted fixes that did not work:
- DDU to wipe prior drivers
- Reinstalled the AMD driver several times
- Upgraded to Windows 11 from Windows 10

I don't believe in reseating the GPU since other apps and games work perfectly fine. It is also a highly obscure issue, because it can sometimes happen five times i a game of rocket league and other times it doesn't at all in a several hour session.

Any ideas? Because I'm out of them.

Not going to be any help, but after reading of your issue...
My new Sapphire Pulse RX 7800 XT had similar issues. I finally sent it back and am waiting for my replacement Sapphire Pulse RX 7800 XT. After hearing of your issue, I'm wondering if I should have replaced it with a different card. I'll follow up when I get it if you're interested.
Mine replaced a Asus ROG Strixx RTX 2070 which worked flawlessly, but didn't have the guts any more.
