Question Two 2.1 speaker for PC surround?

Hi

So my current rig has SB Audigy FX (my onboard one broke) pair with the BOSE COMPANION 3 SERIES II MULTIMEDIA 2.1 Speaker. Since my sound card can support 7.1 and I have an old creative (from 2006) 5.1 speaker, can I just get a receiver or some type to utilize both speakers for surround? This is for a 130 square feet office. Thanks
