[SOLVED] Two 3-pin fans on a 4-pin Y-cable?

I have a spare Y-cable that came with my Nocua PWM fan, but I need to connect two (identical) 3-pin fans to a header, will that work? Are there any downsides? Would a 3-pin Y-cable be preferable?

yes u can. but fans will work on 100% speed

Yes it will work, just make sure that header you connect it to is set to DC control instead of PWM so you can control it.
