I bought two identical ASUS monitors and noticed the color difference between them. I am not sure if this is a quality issue and how to identify which one is defective? These two monitors had the default settings when I took the photo.
Depends what you mean by different color. Are they different when connected separately or at the same time? Because two monitors connected to one laptop or PC will usually have one that is really bright and one that is slightly dull/yellowish. This is due to your motherboard/PSU not being able to supply enough power for both. This is very common and I've seen it with every dual monitors at every job I've had and currently have and the setup I have at home.
If however you are connecting them one at a time and noticing a big color difference then I would assume one is defective and might as well try to return/exchange it.
Right, but the panels are likely from different manufacturers, the result is that colors don't match. It's unfortunate, but that's the reality of the display market.

Suzuki, thanks for your reply.
So, you mean that it does not help if I ask for a exchange?
